Graph Drawing is concerned with the geometric representation of graphs and networks and is motivated by those applications where it is crucial to visualize structural information as graphs. Since graph drawing methods form the algorithmic core of network visualization, bridging the gap between theoretical advances and implemented solutions is an important aspect.
The International Symposium on Graph Drawing is the main annual event in this area. The 19th edition will take place on September 21-23, 2011, at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. Researchers and practitioners working on any aspect of graph drawing are invited to contribute papers and posters, and participate in the graph drawing contest.
Child care will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis for young children (0-3 years) at the TUimelaar, the day care center on the TU/e campus at no costs to conference participants. You need to register for child care before September 10, 2011.
Reception: There will be a welcome reception with buffet dinner on Tuesday, September 20.
Registration is open. The early registration deadline is August 31.
